Saan na nga ba ang Barkada?

Last weekend's takbo.ph runfest was a celebration of running, and for us "pioneers" of takbo.ph, specially these types of running/gatherings are one of the most memorable events in our now-more-than-ever toxic days. nakakamiss din to have these people with me, although most are still visible, be it during ultramarathons, triathlons, duathlons, aquathlons, whenever we get together, it's like we were still the newbies we were a few years back.  Takbo.ph has been my first running family, and a lot of teams i know, all came from takbo.ph as well, as the group eventually grew big.  Happy 5th Anniversary Takbo.ph!  More power!

make that change

it has been a while since i last wrote here in my blog. i was not even able to make kwento about my 2 milestones early this year, one would be my 3rd Condura Full Marathon and my second Ateneo Aquathlon. for the past 3 years or more, i have always been associated with another brand (which, if you're an avid reader of this blog, most probably eh alam nyo na kung ano un haha). i started running using another brand, but when a friend introduced me to it, i was initially intrigued, and eventually tried it out and found out that it was perfect for me. it was lightweight, offered ample support, and as time went by, the designs AND colors eventually became updated and attractive na rin. we've had numerous encounters where i was challenged, but it was able to stick by my side no matter what. there were times when i felt like giving up, or it decided to give up on me, but we eventually were able to patch things up, and get back on track. there were attempts also try on other bra...

after Condura, you're next.

My take on who I wanna BE

(original/ first version can be found here:  http://www.enduremultisport.com/2013/be-be-stronger-run-stronger/   but if you wanna read the more kenkoy write up, continue reading hehe) At the start of the New Year, people start writing down what they want to change from the previous year. A lot of people look back at what they’ve done in the past year, reflecting on what has happened to them, be it an improvement of their current status (financial, career, or even relationships) or  lessons learned from the past. People naturally look back to their past, the history, to help identify what can be improved on, and identify what needs to continue with what they’re doing. That, in essence, was what Mizuno did when they decided to come up with another footwear aimed at helping runners get better. Mizuno went back to history, and in this case, being a Japanese brand, they went back to as far as the Samurai/ Feudal System era, to review and research what else can help runne...
