colors to inspire

i've been wanting to revise my blog's colors since i saw this print ad from a magazine.
so far, here are the different color combinations that i've tried.
i hope you can help me decide which looks nice.

  1. i'd vote for version 2 - kasi the blue color neutralizes the brightness of white, important yun for me para di glaring yung screen, mas eye friendly at di napapagod yung avid readers.

    yun lang po sir timmy.

ang iyong masugid na mambabasa ng blog pero nuknukan ng tamad magcomment,

  2. hmmm d ako masyado sa design but i think version 2 color combination is better

  3. parang di mo man fave ang blue noh? can u try it on green? but for the blues, version 2 is good.
    -from your secret admirer *toink*

  4. version 3 para maiba :P

  5. first...good thing it's blue :D
I like the 3rd one coz i'm more of a "section" person...whatever that means..:D the blue borders does the job...keeps things in place.

  6. first...good thing it's blue :DDD
    I personally like the 3rd version..I'm more of a "section" person...whatever that means :D..
the borders does the job, put things into place ;)

  7. 1 is better.. hehehe!

  8. 3rd version... btw, i'm color blind. =p

  9. use red, yellow or orange! More inspiring than blue. Need to put more fire, passion and heat into it! Blue makes you cool and a bit laid-back. Although malamig sa mata! Pero among the versions you presented, I like V3!

  10. nasabi ko na sayo alin ang gusto ko, eh! :P three pa rin :) cute ka talaga, timmy! :P

  11. 1! pwede na yung 1 for me. :)

  12. Blue and Green is our (mike and I) favorite color combination. Blue is my fave color and his is green. Hence, this will be the color motif for our wedding. haha! So just saying, good color choice =)

Maximizing Potentials

Running has always been my favorite me-time activity. It does not only help me clear my mind, it also helps release toxins from my body. Even though running has been my 'sport' and therapy since 2009, I still have not maximized my potential with this sport.

Tonight, I tried to rekindle my love affair with running by jogging (yes, jogging, the slower version of running?) around UP acad oval. I said to myself, just one round of continuous jogging, and I'm done. Mahirap nang mabigla ang katawan, baka may sumakit pa kinabukasan, etc. So I did na my slow jog, and as I was getting into the groove of things, it slipped my mind that my intial goal was only to do one round.

Slowly and surely, the endorphins started kicking in, and I was trying to shuffle my feet faster, slowly increasing my pace, but still a managable one for someone trying to get my groove back. There have been times when I felt a bit of discomfort, maybe because it has been quite a while since I last had a decent…

why do i hate mizuno

Mizuno sucks. BIG TIME.

yup. you read that right. why?

point #1: they are not a mainstream brand.

mainstream in a sense that they don't even have well-known product endorsers unlike other sports brands around the world. i mean, how can they expect their products to sell like pancakes if they're like that diba?

point #2: they do not promote much of themselves.

not much print ads if you'd ask me. i work in a magazine publishing company and i don't see much of their products splashed all over our magazines. i don't see them having television ads too. not even in the newspapers does mizuno have anything that will lead people to buy their products.

point #3: the products are not that "fashionable."

as compared to other "mainstream" brands, you won't see your regular juans and marias wearing mizunos together with their jeans to the office. you don't see them usually wearing mizunos when they go around the malls, walking, shopping, chilling out. nope.…
