fight the fat: takbo bago mag pasko

early birdies (or should i say, running addicts to the max!)

kasama din nila RJ & Chelly si i markymark (mark) (not in the picture, ako yang naka red)

another pic of TIM secondwind (paolo, hector, timmy)
final class pic before the actual run started (2 rounds of 7.5K route, plus extras)

base sa nakapaskil sa sinulid (thread) ng pakulong ito, ang mga tao ay dapat naka PULA or LUNTIAN sa araw na ito bilang paggugunita ng nalalapit na kapaskuhan. nahati tuloy ang grupo sa dalawang pangkat.red team (composed of all those in red, duh!)

and

here are some of the pics while running, and other PIC stops.

kenkoyrunner & planet trumanian (mizuno boys pero naka adidas & nike respectively)
team captains o mascots for the red team (?)
with super powers ata ako ngayon!) sige game! :)

challenge #2: smile all throughout the run

early birdies: unang nag stop/rest :)

can't get enough of chelly the belly? :D

hanggang sa susunod!

kitakits sa Rizal Day Run!
ice cream, beer at boodle fight (c/o el kapitana! yahoo!)! saan ka pa?

tapos, itakbo natin ulit bago mag bagong taon? tara na! :)

why do i hate mizuno

Mizuno sucks. BIG TIME. yup. you read that right. why? point #1: they are not a mainstream brand. mainstream in a sense that they don't even ha ve well-known product endorsers unlike other sports brands around the world. i mean, how can they expect their products to sell like pancakes if the y're like that diba? point #2: they do not promote much of themselves. not much print ads if you'd ask me. i work in a magazine publishing company and i don't see mu ch of their products splashed all over our magazines. i don't see them havi ng television ads too. not even in the newspapers does mizuno have anything that will lead people to buy their products. point #3: the products are not that "fashionable." as compared to other "mainstream" brands, you won't see you r regular juans and marias weari ng mizunos together with their jeans to the office. you don't see them usually wearing mizuno s when they go around the malls, walking, shopping, chilli

running is good for the heart

so, you're a runner. you've heard and might have read the benefits of running,  and what running (or exercise in general) does to you and your body. other than the stated obvious reasons why running is good for the heart,  here are some more reasons on why running is really good for the heart. let's just have the pictures speak for themselves...     (akala ni fifi sha lang ah :) hahaha)                             running is really good for the heart, as can be seen through these images (but running also is not that friendly to your pockets, hahahahaha) for other run-related love entries check on the following blogs too: -   kikayrunner - ronald a.k.a. halimaw so ano, tara, takbo na! ayot? apir!     eto talaga ang dahilan sa break up ni...

virgin no more

people say that it's painful when you do it for the first time. a lot of my friends have done it way ahead before me.  people have been telling since mid-2009 that i should already try to do it.  i've always thought of doing this when i feel I'm ready for it, to commit to it.  I didn't want to do something I would eventually regret. doing this entails responsibility, and commitment, and would be really time-consuming.   let's begin with the end when i started seriously running at last year's Condura Run, I never imagined thinking of ever running a full marathon in the near future. after that condura run, i started training for 10K races, then slowly leveling up to having LSDs and 15K and 10milers, and eventually had my first half marathon at Botak Paatibayan in May 2009. during that race, i witnessed how a not so "well-organized" full marathon that packed up everything way before the "cut-off" when the race didn't even have a cut-o
